Christmas 2008

We hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and have a blessed year in 2009! We had a wonderful holiday! The boys are at such great ages to enjoy everything! Andrew (my little scientist loved his "Nasty Science Experiment" kit and his medal detector. Rocco's favorite gift was a remote control tarantula (that is all he asked for, which he said he made it up in his head...I couldn't believe they actually made one!). Anyways, the tarantula's name is Fluffy:) And Ian loved it all! If it has to do with music, balls, guns...he is a happy boy! It has been nice to have a full 2 weeks off with the boys...I can't believe it almost over.

"e" and lipstick

Last week, all was quiet...which I have come to know is a scary sound. I look around the corner to see Ian holding my lipstick (the lipstick itself not the tube it comes in). He had it everywhere...even his eyelids. Of coarse it is oil based which makes it impossible to clean...which adds to the fun of it! I felt like crying but instead just started laughing. I do so much enjoy my boys...no matter how much stuff they get into.

The First Brola Family Vacation

Finally, after 8 years, we finally all got away together. Adam and I took the boys to Myrtle Beach over the Thanksgiving Break. We had such a great time just being together!

We Finally Have A Blog!

OK...so we are little behind, but we finally have a blog! Adam is joking me for doing this, but he will be alright. Hopefully this will help us catch up with some old friends!

About us right now...Adam and I have now been married for 8 years. And I can honestly say I love him more today than I ever imagined I could when we got married. Adam is working for Verizon and I am teaching second grade at Rosemont Forest Elementary School. Andrew is 6 years old and in first grade. He is such a kind boy who is always looking out for others (especially his brothers). He is very smart and loves exploring outside and making new inventions inside. Rocco is 4 years old and just started Preschool. He has a love for life that is contagious. He is very funny and off the walls at home, but very shy around others outside of the family. Ian is now 15 months old and a good combination of both Roc an Drew...he is social like Andrew and has a great since of humor like Rocco. I call him the "Charmer" of the 3. He can be raise'n you know what in Walmart and then a stranger will look at him and he just starts smiling and flirting. Adam and I are very blessed to have all 3 boys in our family. They bring so much joy to each day.

End of Summer Fun

The boys love to go to the beach so we decided to take them there while there was still some nice days to enjoy the water and warm weather. Ian is like a little sea turtle...he heads straight to the ocean with no fear. Drew and Roc are also getting braver.

School Starts

Andrew started first grade this year and is very excited about going all day to school instead of just a half day.

Rocco also started Pre-school this year! I thought he would be apprehensive because he is not as social as Andrew, but he just loves it! As wild as he can be at home, you would never believe how shy he can be around other people.
